Stupidity run amok

Browsing the news this week I see example after example of stupidity run amok.

In Iraq: The constitutional congress is getting stuck on stupid little points where the religious fanatics want their policies enshrined as constitutional law. What these bozos keep forgetting is that they are writing a constitution, not laws. They are writing the instruction manual for how the government will function, what it can, and what it can not do. Many are getting ahead of themselves and trying to get laws passed.

For example, the issue of inheritance. Those who subscribe to strict Islamic law believe that female children are only entitled to one half of a male child gets from a deceased parent's estate. In other words, the boys get twice as much as the girls. These bozos want to put this rule into the constitution.

The constitution doesn't need to address this matter! It is irrelevant. The solution is so simple, but they can't see it because they are so blinded by their devotion to the Koran. If some parents want to follow Islamic "law" in regards to how their estate will be distributed, then let them use a will. If they don't want to, then they don't have to.

At "Camp Sheehan" in Crawford Texas: Saint Cindy is making such an ass of herself. She wants to dictate foreign policy. Hey Cindy, that is what your vote it for. What makes you more special than the other 300 million Americans?

She claims she just wants to "talk" to Bush. Yea, right. You have already said what you are going to demand. Why should Bush waste his time talking to some nut-job like you? Get real.

She just ticks me off no end with her claims that she gave up her son for the war in Iraq. Yo, Cindy. Your son was an adult and choose to join the USMC and serve his country. We don't have the draft in the US. You act like you put a gun to his head and forced him to boot camp. Please stop speaking for someone who can't defend himself. If someone took it upon themself to use my death for their politics, I'd come back and kill them.

It looks like the Looney-left has decided to join her. What a friggen circus.

Venezuela: Comrade Chavez, the Castro wanna-be president of Venezuela, hosted a youth commie love-in last week. 20,000 clueless brainwashed idiots from around the world all showed up wearing their trendy Che Guevara T-shirts and giving their boring commie speeches. Chavez himself gave a speech where he pledged world socialism, and that if the US dared attack Venezuela, that it would fail spectacularly.

*sigh* Where do they dig these idiot dinosaurs from? Don't they realize that it is 2005 and communism just doesn't work? If they want a worker's socialist paradise, why don't they move to North Korea? See how well things are going there.
